When the country is undergoing Unlock 5.0 phase and things have been relaxed a little bit, film industry too has resumed production work and shootings have been started in adherence with the Covid-19 safety guidelines. After wrapping up the shoot of her espionage thriller ‘Bell Bottom’, which was majorly shot during covid-19 induced lockdown, actress Vaani Kapoor, has now been tested positive for the infection as she was about to shoot for her next Romcom with Ayushmann Khurrana.
As per reports, the ‘War’ actress recently developed some symptoms for the coronavirus and decided to undergo a test for the same, which confirmed her positive result for COVID-19. Due to this, the production of the movie came to a halt and the makers will have to wait for a few days till the actress recovers from it.
As per a media report, “Vaani has tested COVID positive after she showed a few symptoms. She is fine now but the entire unit, including Abhishek and Ayushmann, have now been quarantined for the next few days.” The report also stated that all the people on the sets were tested for the infection, “They have all got their tests done as well.”
Meanwhile, it has been reported that till the time Vaani recuperates from the deadly virus, the makers will go ahead with the shoot of Ayushmann’s chunks from the film, “While Vaani is recovering, the team will resume work on the film only in a bit and if Vaani cannot join them then, they will first start with Ayushmann’s solo scenes,” further stated the report.
Helmed by Abhishek Kapoor, this untitled project is a rom-com, where a husband comes to discovers that he has been married to a transgender and how this brings funny twists to their lives. We wish the actress a speedy recovery and hope she gets back to sets soon.
