Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is all set to make you bite your tongue with his upcoming suspense thriller Raman Raghav 2.0. Lately, the makers have released the official teaser of the film which can give you goose bumps within a few seconds.
Just like the posters have raised the curiosity level, the teaser is also equally appealing in its Horror scope. Anurag Kashyap, who has fallen apart from his last venture ‘Bombay Velvet’, must be finding some positive vibe with this film. Crime and Thriller are his genres and no one can rule him out in that. He had already dealt with numerous crime stories in the past and yet again give you a dose of fear with his latest installment.
The film is based on a real-life notorious psychopathic serial killer Raman Raghav, who aimlessly went on to kill several peoples in 1960’s Bombay (Mumbai). The lead character in the film ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ is essayed by Nawazuddin Siddiqui whose first look in the movie is freaking ugly. The other lead role is played by newcomer Vicky Kaushal, who is essaying the Mumbai Police Cop in the film. Vicky Kaushal has already garnered critical acclaim with his performances in Masaan and Zubaan.
The released teaser gives us a hint of a scary journey of Raman Raghav who aimlessly killed people on the streets of Mumbai. In real, Raman used to kill people only from the pavements but in the teaser, it is showed that he is killing a lady inside a house. It looks like the filmmaker is independently flirting with the subject and playing with the red and blue color filters. Anurag has an acute color sense since his starting days of unreleased ‘Paanch’ and ‘Black Friday’. He even poured the red color in ‘Gulaal’ and a blue one in ‘Ugly’.
Well, with this film also Anurag is with the RGB color tones. The film is set for June 24 release.
