In 2017, Athiya demonstrated her comedic talent in *Mubarakan*, where she acted alongside Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor. Beyond her film career, Athiya’s personal life drew attention when she married cricketer KL Rahul in January 2023. Their intimate wedding blended Bollywood glamour with the world of cricket and highlighted the couple’s strong bond.

Suniel Shetty, in a Mid-Day interview, offered some advice to his daughter. He emphasized the importance of trusting her partner, acknowledging that, as an athlete, Rahul’s career involved extensive travel.
