Fitness freak, Akshay Kumar has always been seen advocating for healthy lifestyle and promoting fitness. Khiladi Kumar taking such an initiative to make our heroes, who work day and night to provide us safety and security, fit and healthy, came forward to gift Mumbai Police fitness wristbands.
Keeping the health of our Mumbai Police on priority, Akshay has gifted a total of 1200 fitness bands to the Commissioner of Mumbai Police, Param Bir Singh, to enable early detection of coronavirus symptoms.
Sharing the information on his twitter account, along with a picture of Akshay Kumar handing over the wristbands, Maharashtra cabinet minister, Aaditya Thackeray wrote,”Earlier today, @akshaykumar ji handed over fitness- health tracking devices to @MumbaiPolice. It gives a constant reading of oxygen, body temp and heart rate, helpful in Covid battle. Last month, Akshay ji gave it to @nashikpolice.”

“Akshay ji has always supported our nation’s armed forces, police in various states. I’m thankful to him for his concern for our covid warriors and we also discussed about giving some of these trackers to the @mybmc for use.” The young politician added.
Earlier this year, Akshay Kumar had gifted 1000 smart wristbands to Mumbai Police and 500 to Nashik Police to detect the early symptoms of Covid-19 among front line workers who are above 45 years of age and are exposed to the possibilities of contracting the deadly virus.
