Dangal, which released on December 23, has won four major awards at Filmfare. The awards night started with a bang, where Neerja got five awards, Kapoor & Sons were following it from behind. Finally the shocker was, Aamir Khan’s Dangal which grabbed all the top four awards. After Dangal’s big win at the filmfare, Twitterati went crazy and shared their views.
Dangal has performed brilliantly till the fourth weekend. Till now, Dangal has earned 370 crores , with over 300 percent of profit. The budget of Dangal was 90 crores and was released in 4300 screens across India. In the overseas market, the film has crossed 190 crores at the Box-Office. In the competitive terms, it is giving a tought fight to this week releases xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage, Haraamkhor and Ok Jaanu.

In the filmfare awards ceremony, Aamir Khan won best actor award for Dangal. Dangal was also being awarded as the best film and Nitesh Tiwari also won the best director award. Sham Kaushal also won the best action award. Aamir Khan essayed the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat, whose only dream was to win an award for India. Apart from Dangal, Alia Bhatt won the best actress award for Udta Punjab at Filmfare.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Suhani Bhatnagar, Zaira Wasim, Sakshi Tanwar, and Girish Kulkarni in titular roles.
