Twitter To Bring New Snapchat-like News Camera Feature, All The Details Inside

This News Camera feature will allow Twitterati to add captions to photos and videos and live broadcasts.

With this feature, Twitter will surely have some edge to its competitors. It will also help them in making their case for a leading media company. Let’s be honest, Twitter has been lacking when it comes to visual sharing space as compared to its rivals.

App researcher and tipster Jane Manchun Wong tweeted confirming this new feature that will reportedly be called ‘Moments’. Look at her Tweet:

Users will have to swipe left from the home screen of the app to launch this ‘News Camera’ feature.

A Twitter spokesperson was quoted saying to a Leading tech portal CNET, “I can confirm that we’re working on an easier way to share thing like images and videos on Twitter. What you’re seeing is in mid-development so it’s tough to comment on what things will look like in the final stage. The team is still actively working on what we’ll actually end up shipping.”

However, it is still not clear when this ‘News Camera’ feature will roll out for general users.
