As we all know about the demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. These notes were made invalid overnight as a move to curb corruption and end black money trade. The declaration caused a nationwide panic in people about not knowing what to do with the currency notes they had, which was then solved when the news about invalid note exchange and bank deposit came out. Although, this move will also cause short-term pain and chaos for the working class, small businesses and nearly anybody who deals with cash on a daily basis.
Twinkle Khanna who is known for her vivacious nature and witty humor, has recently posted a picture of a 500 rupee note taking a dig at the demonetization scheme with a Mickey Mouse embedded on it probably from one of Nitara’s toys.
