Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha was off to a great start and has been witnessing a quick growth. Word of mouth has been helping the film to grow massively. Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh had predicted that the box office collections of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha would total to Rs 48 crore by the weekend. The film bagged a total of Rs 30.20 crore only on Friday and Saturday. The film was made on a budget of merely 18 crore rs and it has made profits already. Taran Adarsh seems to be extremely happy with the collection of 5 days. Here’s what he tweeted:

Day 3: Rs 21.25 crore
Day 4: Rs 12 crore

This film similarly highlights the hurdles that have prevented change in the society. Akshay Kumar’s start to 2017 was marked by the release of Jolly LLB 2 which made it the list of highest openers so far. Jolly LLB was the 5th highest opener and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha has become the 6th highest opener so far.
