Time to bid farewell to #KaiRa

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is an Indian television drama that debuted on Star Plus on the 12th of January, 2009. Rajan Shahi’s Kut Productions is the show’s producer. It is currently one of the longest-running Hindi drama series on television. After Hina Khan and Karan Mehra, Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi took over as the show’s leads. Whether you watch the serial or not, you know the couple had become the most lovable characters and are talked about in every home.

Moshin Khan, who portrayed Kartik Goenka for 5.5 years, recently finished filming his final episode for the romantic drama. He used Instagram to reminisce over the past and bid farewell to our dear Kartik Goenka. He posted two photos on his Instagram stories, one of the first shot and the other of the final shot as Kartik. ‘5.5 years, Mashallah,’ he captioned it.

Meanwhile, Joshi, who played Naira and now Sirat on the show, was emotional as she addressed her goodbyes to the audience and said, “I will forever be grateful for the boundless love & affection I have received while playing Naira and Sirat (especially Naira) in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. To Rajan Shahi Sir, To Star Plus, to the Show, to my Co-Stars, and the incredible people who make it, thank you for giving me the finest memories & moments I could have ever asked for. Without all of you, I wouldn’t be the person I am today.”

Kartik may be seen reuniting with Naira in heaven in the promo. Following the departure of Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, a new cast will be introduced. Following the generation leap, Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod will portray the new leads in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.’
