2017 has been a pretty bad year for Bollywood because some big films bombed at the box office. However, the box office collection of Tiger Zinda Hai is telling a totally different story. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is doing phenomenal business all around the world. People are coming in large numbers to watch Bhai Jaan on the big screen. There is no stopping to the films as far as box office numbers are concerned.
Tiger Zinda Hai had an astonishing first week at box office window. The movie took a grand start and has never stopped ever since. The movie earned a whopping sum of Rs. 206 Crore in just seven days. The movie is breaking several records at the box office. It is the highest grossing Bollywood film of 2017. The movie crossed the lifetime figure of Golmaal Again in just seven days.
Now, we are going to compare TZH’s box office collection to last year’s Christmas release Dangal featuring Aamir Khan in the lead role. Salman’s film has beaten Aamir Khan this time. Dangal earned Rs. 192 Crore in the first week, whereas Tiger Zinda Hai has earned Rs. 206 Crore in the first week.

This clearly suggests that Tiger has been able to impress the audience. The movie is a direct sequel to Kabir Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger. Ali Abbas Zafar has directed Tiger Zinda Hai, Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles, whereas Angad Bedi, Kumud Mishra, Nawab Shah, Girish Karnad and Paresh Rawal play supporting roles.
