The love story of 40-year-old diva of Bollywood Kareena Kapoor Khan and the dashing nawab of the industry Saif Ali Khan has always fascinated their fans for many reasons. The two came closer on the sets of ‘Tashan’ which failed to bring magic on-screen but apparently did bring the magic in Saif and Kareena’s life. After dating each other for nearly 4-years they tied the sacred knot in 2012. Their wedding surely grabbed a lot of attention as there was an age gap of 10-years and also the fact that Saif was a divorcee and was a father of two at the time of marriage. He was separated from his star wife Amrita Singh, who was 12 years elder to him, after 13 years of their marriage.
From fans to media, everyone wanted to know Amrita’s reaction to this marriage, however, the veteran actress always kept mum. But there were several incidents when Bebo and Saif came candid about it. Where, Saif admitted to have written a letter to his former wife just before going down for his second wedding, Kareena too spelled the beans on the sets of celebrity talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’ about her equation with Saif’s first wife Amrita.
During the show, the ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ actress revealed that she has never met Amrita, however, she has the utmost respect and regard for the latter. Citing the reason, Kareena mentioned that when she met Saif Ali Khan he was already separated from Amrita for long time.
Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are all set to welcome their second child next year. Whereas, their first child Taimur has turned 2-year-old and is breaking internet with his cuteness.
