The Crew Of Rajinikanth Starrer Darbar Forced To Stop Shooting The Film, Here Is Why
As you may already know that superstar Rajinikanth will next be seen in Darbar, the movie which is being shot in Mumbai. However, the shooting of the movie was abruptly halted due to protest from a few college students.
Miffed with the strict rules of the crew, some college students started protesting forcing them to stop the shooting. It is reported that the students were miffed with the crew members for not allowing them to click photos and record videos. They also barricaded the area where the shooting was underway, which ultimately angered students.
The students were so miffed that they allegedly pelted stones at the crew members from the terrace of a building. Director AR Murugadoss allegedly had complained to college authority about the behavior of students and also changed the shooting location.
Darbar is upcoming cop drama, which also marks the first collaboration between superstar Rajinikanth and director AR Murugadoss. The movie also marks superstar’s third collaboration with actress Nayanthara. The lead pair started shooting for the film in Mumbai on April 22 last month.
Prateik Babbar will play a negative role in the movie. Darbar will see Rajinikanth in a cop’s role after 25 years. Last time, he played a cop in Pandiyan, which released in 1992.
Darbar is slated to release on Pongal next year.
