In these times of biopics in Bollywood, one much awaited biopic, that is to release the coming year is Kapil Dev’s biopic, ’83! ’83 is based on the World Cup 1983 and Kapil Dev’s life in Cricket! The movie shall have Ranveer Singh playing the lead role, that is of Kapil Dev! The shoot has already begun and we see a lot many posts and news about Ranveer Singh spending time with Kapil Dev, prepping for the movie! Amidst all this, the team ’83 recently cheered as there is one year left for the release of the movie!

The movie is to release on 10th April, 2020 and henceforth, Ranveer Singh took his Instagram to share a picture with Team ’83 wherein the team is seen cheering as there is exactly one year left for the release! Ranveer Singh captioned the image, “One year from today, relive India’s greatest story ?? #Relive83 Releasing on 10th April 2020.”

The movie features R Badree, Harrdy Sandhu, Chirag Patil, Saqib Saleem, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Bhasin, Ammy Virk and Saahil Khattar in key roles of cricketers. Talking about the movie Ranveer Singh said, “I was born at the time when cricket was big time. When Kabir Sahab (director Kabir Khan) had come to me and said that there will be a film on 83, I was like finally. And when he was narrating it to me, I was like woooh. It is not a story just about cricket but a human story.”
