Sequels of a successful film have been a go-to formula for success in Bollywood as well as Hollywood. After the massive success of the first film, people tend to watch the second one without thinking much about the quality of a film. We have often seen people complaining that the sequel lacks the originality and quality of the first one, but sequels prove box office success.
After the massive success of Kick (2104) starring Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez, the movie is getting a sequel that will release sometime next year. Kick turned out to be a life-changing film for Jacqueline.
On being asked about the sequel to Kick in an interview, Jacqueline said that making a sequel to Kick is a tough job as there are lots of expectations from the fans. There is constant pressure on the actors and the makers to do well more than the first one. People have lots of expectations which put more responsibilities on you.
Talking about Kick 2, Jacqueline said to PTI, “Sajid Nadiadwala wants to make ‘Kick 2’ more bigger and better. He is working hard on the writing,”
While talking about her performance in Housefull, Judwaa 2 and Race 3, which all were sequels, the actress added that she had to face a huge pressure while doing these films.
