The #MeToo movement that was initiated a frw years back, was established to put an end to several ages of the hideous acts of the casting directors. They seeked for young new talents with dreams of making it big in the film industry . Their dreams were sgattered at the very beginning when these devils had their claws on them.
Indian actors too slowly started coming out about the dreadful tactics they had to deal with in the beginning of their careers. Here’s a list of few such actors:-
1. Surveen Chawla
This actress made a mark in Bollywood with her undeniably amazing performance in Hate Story 2. Soon after she was apart of the movie, the actress came out openly about the casting couch vile in the South Indian film industry. The courageous human she is, Surveen never gave into such requests.
2. Kalki Koechlin
The versatile actress of Bollywood came out with a big confession during the #MeToo movement. Kalki mentioned that she was asked to be a part of the ghastly casting couch in exchange for a big break. The actor however, never indulged into it.
3.Ayushmann Khurrana
The jolly and super energetic actor Ayushmann was working for the smaller screen before making a mark in Bollywood. It was during that point when the star was offered to participate in casting couch to which Ayushmann invasively denied.
4. Ranveer Singh
The lover boy and most adorable husband of Bollywood, Ranveer Singh is now a big star in the industry. After a couple of blockbusters, the actor has reached unmeasurable heights of stardom. However, in the start of his career, he too had to go through the ugly contusion of casting couch.
5. Tisca Chopra
The gorgeous actress rose to fame after her impeccable performance in Taare Zameen Par. She has worked in several linguistic films so far. However, this Bollywood beauty too was offered the hideous casting couch to which the actress strongly denied.
