Director Om Raut’s Adipurush has been announced with the South actor Prabhas playing the protagonist in the film. However, the latest announcement of Saif Ali Khan playing the villian has set the expectations bar raised way higher. The Adipurush team made the big announcement today that Said shall portray the world’s most Intelligent Demon in the film.
Adipurush is Saif Ali Khan’s second venture with Om Raut. The first being Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior where bebo’s husband played the antagonist. The lead actor Prabhas shared the poster featuring Saif and captioned it as, “7000 years ago existed the world’s most intelligent demon! #Adipurush #SaifAliKhan.”
Saif’s lady love Kareena Kapoor too shared the poster of the film starring Saif and wrote, “Presenting the most handsome devil in history… my man, Saif Ali Khan,”

Saif Ali Khan revealed his excitement to be a part of Adipurush. He said, “I’m thrilled to be working with Omi dada (Om Raut) again! Saif’s co-star Prabhas too had earlier shared about the film. He was quoted saying, “Every role and every character comes with its own challenges but portraying a character like this comes with tremendous responsibility and pride. I am very excited to portray this character of our epic, especially the way Om Raut has designed it. I am sure the youth of our country will shower all their love on our film.”
