Member of Parliament and Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal has irked celebrities and social media people over his statement on Arundhati Roy. He recently targeted Booker price winning writer Arundhati after her controversial views on Kashmir.

Paresh Rawal tweeted, “Instead of tying stone pelter on the army jeep tie Arundhati Roy!”.After Paresh Rawal’s tweet, filmmaker and social activist Ashoke Pandit alos supported the actor. He tweeted, “I support Paresh Rawal’s statement because it is a real expression and emotion. Arundhati Roy has always been anti-national; she has been supporting the terrorists in Kashmir.” This is not all, he also tweeted, “She is not the only one to be blamed; there are many more, who deserve to be tied to a jeep and be treated the same. So, with heart and soul, I support Paresh Rawal.”
After the controversial tweet by Paresh Rawal, Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar came in support for Arundhati and slammed Rawal. She said, “It’s one thing to disagree with someone, even hate them… but Wow!!!!!!! #PareshRawal takes shamelessness and irresponsibility to other level.. As a Parliamentarian he openly threatened a woman and called for a brutal act of violence against her on Twitter. Disgusting! Go join the #GauRakshaks Paresh sir, your ilk are out in murderous mobs- go satiate your masculine rage parading as faux- nationalism!!! What a fall from grace for a fine fine actor!!!!”
