Sushant’s talent manager Jaya Saha spoke to SSR last on June 5; Says ‘he wasn’t keeping well’
Drug angle linked to Sushant Singh Rajput death case has been surprising us with its shocking revelations and ever since the Narcotics Control Bureau launched its probe into drug investigation many big names from the Bollywood industry have surfaced, widening NCB’s investigation area. Now as per recent reports, as SSR’s talent manager’s name had also surfaced in the drug angle, NCB on Tuesday, had called Jaya Saha for questioning for the second day in a row.
In a significant development, Jaya Saha on her second day of questioning reportedly revealed about the last time she spoke with the late actor and that he was not keeping well when she last met him at his residence in March, 2020.
Jaya in her statement, shared that her last conversation with SSR on June 5, just days before his sudden demise, was purely professional and she had called him for a film project. She also shared her meeting with Sushant from March 2020, where she mentioned that the late actor was not keeping well. Talking about it, Jaya revealed to NCB officials that during the meeting, SSR would often start walking, go inside the bedroom, and then return back.
According to the reports, Jaya Saha told in her statement that she had a film offer for Sushant for which she had called him on June 5. The movie was directed by Kumar Mangal and the actor was offered a sum of Rs 6 Crore. Sushant had reportedly liked the film and wanted to do it, but he, however, asked Jaya to double the amount to Rs 12 Crore for the film.
To note, Jaya Saha also gave the details of the firm KWAN she dealt with and had helped Sushant with films like ‘Drive’, ‘Kedarnath’, ‘Sonchiriya’, ‘Dil Bechara’, ‘Chhichhore’ and several other big movies. Jaya not only got SSR his last movie but helped him get 21 endorsements.
As per recent developments, the CEO of talent management firm, KWAN, was also summoned by the NCB today along with Jaya Saha, who works for the firm. Jaya’s name had first surfaced when a WhatsApp chat from Rea’s mobile was recovered where she was engaged in a conversation with Jaya Saha who was instructing the ‘Jalebi’ actress to mix few drops of an illegal substance in Sushant’s drink and get him drink it which within 15-20 mins will kick in.
