Sushant’s father KK Singh meets Bihar CM after HC reserves orders on Rhea’s bail plea

Grief-stricken father of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Krishna Kumar Singh once again met Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Patna, on Wednesday after Bombay High Court Justice SV Kotwal, on Tuesday, reserved judgment on the prime accused of the late actor death case and his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty’s bail plea.

As photos from the meet were also shared by a media agency where Sushant’s father KK Singh was seen sitting near Bihar CM Nitish Kumar with a mask on a day after Rhea’s bail verdict was reserved by the Bombay HC. Though the reason for the meeting wasn’t revealed, however, before this recent visit Sushant’s father KK Singh had earlier too met the Bihar CM in the month of August to request him to order a CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.

As the case is investigated by three federal agencies, the Central Bureau of Investigation, Enforcement Directorate, and Narcotics Control Bureau, independently investigating the case, many new angles have come into the light. Where CBI is heading the case, ED is looking into the money laundering angle based on KK Singh’s FIR accusing Rhea of siphoning off 15 crores to her account, meanwhile, during ED’s investigation, Rhea’s mobile WhatsApp chat accessed by the forensic experts gave it a new angle involving drugs which later roped in anti-drug agency NCB. The narcotics agency, on September 8, arrested Rhea after 3 days of questioning under several NDPS charges and demanded her judicial custody which was granted by the court and now Rhea has been rejected bail pleas twice by the Magistrate court and Special NDPS court, and her custody was also extended till October 6 which was ending on September 23.

Furthermore, during the bail plea hearing of Rhea and her brother Showik with the other 3 accused, in their submission made for the bail applicants, senior lawyer Maneshinde, Sayyed, and Desai before the Bombay Hight Court alleged that NCB has no jurisdiction to carry out this probe as the Supreme Court had directed the CBI to investigate cases pertaining to the death of the late actor. The defense counsel also argued that the accused before the High Court were arrested related to Sushant’s case under allegations of supplying the late actor drug, thus, it was should also be investigated by the CBI and not the NCB.
