The demise of rising star of Bollywood, Sushant Singh Rajput, was a huge loss to not only to the industry but also the whole nation as everyone is still grieving the news of actor’s tragic death. Sushant’s final rites were done at the Pawan Hans Crematorium near Vile Parle, Mumbai, on June 15.
To bid the actor good-bye for the last time, his family members also flew down from Patna. Apart from the family members, celebrities such as Vivek Oberoi, Varun Sharma, Shraddha Kapoor among others were also spotted at Sushant’s funeral.
As per reports, actor’s ashes will be taken back to Patna, where it will be immersed in the holy Ganges. It is to be mentioned that Sushant’s mother had also died in Patna and now, the actor will also embrace holy Ganges, in Patna.
Last year, Sushant had visited his hometown, Patna for a mundan to fulfill a mannat by his mother at the Manasa Devi Temple. The actor was very rooted in his traditions and was proud of it. This humble and grounded Bollywood star was a youth icon for the people of Bihar and was being loved for his philanthropic work in the region.
Making his entry in the glamorous world of movie making, Sushant Singh Rajput started out doing television shows such as ‘Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil’ and ‘Pavitra Rishta’. Later, given to his hard work and huge fan base he made his Bollywood debut with ‘Kai Po Che!’.
Sushant was last seen in Netflix film ‘Drive’ with Jacqueline Fernandez, and before that, in the film ‘Chhichhore’ opposite actress Shraddha Kapoor. His last big screen movie, ‘Chhichhore’ had a strong message on overcoming challenges and never giving up on life because of difficulties but face it with bravery and reaching out for help.
