Sushant Singh Case: Nirbhaya Rape case lawyer raises questions on Mumbai Police investigation
It’s been almost a month since Sushant Singh Rajput passed away, yet social media is still abuzz around the circumstances of his sudden demise. In times when, ‘Kai Po Che!’ star fans are demanding a CBI probe into his death, the Nirbhaya Rape case lawyer launches a scathing attack on Mumbai Police, asking why did Police declare it a suicide?
Demanding justice for the late actor Sushant, his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty too had requested Home Minister Amit Shah through a tweet asking for a CBI probe. Now that this alleged suicide case has been growing suspicious, people like Seema Samridhi, who handled the Nirbhaya Rape Case are now posing questions over Mumbai police for making haste in declaring it a ‘Suicide Case’.
Taking it to her twitter account, lawyer Seema Samridhi questioned the police regarding the same. She asked why the police declared it as a suicide when there were signs of an alleged murder. She wrote, “On June 14, a doubt surfaced that it is not suicide. Looking at the mortal remains of Sushant Singh Rajput, it seemed like an alleged murder. The mark on his neck did not seem to be the mark of hanging from anywhere; No, suicide note, then why did they call it a suicide without investigation?”
Lawyer Seema Samridhi, earlier, too had requested Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah to transfer Sushant Singh Rajput’s case to Central Bureau of Investigation.
On June 14, the 34-years-old actor, Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging from the ceiling of Bandra resident. The actor was said to be suffering from depression but had stopped taking medications for quite a while. The reason for his depression was alleged to be the prevalent culture of favouritism and Nepotisim in the industry, which caused him lost many projects to star kids.
