Sushant Case: Now Ankita Lokhande too demands CBI probe; Releases a Video!

After team Kangana Ranaut on August 13 alleged the Mumbai police for rushing the Sushant Singh Rajput’s probe and criticizing Shiv Sena MP, Sanjay Raut for claiming that ‘they are almost done with the investigation’, the ex-girlfriend of the late actor, Ankita Lokhande too stood up for SSR and demanded a CBI enquiry into the matter.

In her video Kangana had tagged Ankita and Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kriti, writing, “Mumbai police wants to rush the probe, Sanjay Raut saying they are almost done with the investigation, we deserve to know the truth #CBIForSSR #justiceforSushanthSinghRajput @shwetasinghkirt @anky1912.”

Supporting her former boyfriend, Sushant’s ‘Pavitra Rishta’ girlfriend, Ankita released a video where she could be seen holding a placard that reads, “Justice for Sushant #CBI for SSR.” The duo had dated for six long years before they split up.

Earlier in the day, Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kriti, who lives in US, had also shared a video with a placard and a picture on her Instagram handle, seeking CBI enquiry in her brother’s death case. She had written, “We stand together as a nation for CBI Enquiry! Demanding an unbiased investigation is our right and we expect nothing but the truth to come out. #CBIForSSR #Warriors4SSR #justiceforSushanthSinghRajput @PMOIndia @narendramodi @AmitShah (sic).”

As the actor was found dead in his Bandra apartment, Mumbai on June 14, Mumbai Police had declared it a suicide case but Sushant’s father Krishna Kumar Singh filed a complaint against late actor’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, her family and 6 others, in Patna’s Rajiv Nagar police station, a team of four Bihar policemen was sent to Mumbai for investigation. Later the case, however, was transferred to CBI on the demand of Sushant’s family but the agency cannot investigate the matter before Supreme Court’s verdict.
