Sushant Case: Bihar Court dismisses plea against Karan Johar, Salman Khan
A Bihar Court refuses to entertain a petition seeking registration of cases against Bollywood stars – Karan Johar, Salman Khan, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ekta Kapoor, and others.
Chief Judicial Magistrate of Muzaffarpur, Mukesh Kumar, dismissed the petition out that the matter lay outside the court’s jurisdiction.
Petition was filed by a local advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha. “I will challenge the CMJ’s decision before the district court. Bihar is in pain over the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. We must act to bring those, who drove a jovial young man like him to take such an extreme step, to justice,” said Ojha.
Ojha, just few days after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, had filed a petition against seven Bollywood celebrities for allegedly abetting actor’s suicide. He blamed the Bollywood biggies of promoting nepotism in the industry that becomes a reason for outsiders to take such drastic steps.
Ojha had also named, among ‘witnesses’, Kangana Ranaut who came out with a couple of angry messages blaming nepotism and favouritism in the film industry for the tragedy.
