Surgical Strike 2 To Be Produced By Sanjay Leela Bhansali, This Superstar To Play The Lead
After dastardly Pulwama Terror attack on February 14 that took lives of more than 40 brave CRPF jawans, the Indian government took revenge by attacking Pakistani terror camps and launch pads. Our heroes of Indian Air Force carried out surgical strike going deep in Pakistani territory and bombed training camps and launch pad of Pakistan based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed. Ever since then, the tension between the two neighboring nation has been on an all-time high.
Amidst all this, Bollywood is looking to cash in on this moment. As you may be well aware of the facts that Uri: The Surgical Strike broke all the box office records and earned more than Rs. 240 Crore. Indian filmmakers are trying to make a movie on the Surgical Strike 2. Just recently, we told you about how all top Bollywood production houses lined up at IMPPA to register the title for the movie based on Pulwama attack and surgical strike 2.0.
Now, it is reported that the movie on Pulwama incident is currently in the making. Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali joins hands with Bhushan Kumar, Abhishek Kapoor, and Mahaveer Jain to produce the movie. As per the report of a leading daily, the pre-production work on the movie has already been started. The movie is expected to shoot in June/July this year.
The movie is going to be a tribute to the Indian Air Force showcasing their bravery and valor. The buzz in the media suggests that either Ajay Devgn or Akshay Kumar will play the lead role in the movie.
