According to karnataka government, invitation to sunny leone for a new year event will be an “assault” on the city’s culture. On contrary to this Sunny leone tweeted, “ Since the police of Bangalore have publicly said that they will not be able to ensure mine & all who attend safety for my New Year’s event, my team & I feel, safety of the people should always come first therefore I cannot attend.God bless & I wish everyone a safe & happy New Year!”
The Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) and other organisations have been protesting the event because according to them inviting sunny leone for new year event will be an “assault” to city’s culture. From past few weeks, the matter is being exaggerated by karnataka government, the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike members, taking out rallies in the city as well as burning her pictures to end the matter.
@SunnyLeone Proud of your stand. More power to you. Surprised that a government under the progressive #CongressPresidentRahulGandhi not able to provide security. Stay strong. The youth and the young at heart are with you. Jai Ho. 👍👍 #SunnyLeone https://t.co/j3pxxeCQjv

To @CMofKarnataka ,
This is disappointing! How can @BlrCityPolice not be able to provide security to a performance? The city of #Bengaluru deserves better management. https://t.co/rhmR8Tv6n3— Faye DSouza (@fayedsouza) December 19, 2017
