Bollywood recent Salman Khan release ‘Sultan’ has turned the Box-Office table in a big way. It is now named as the third highest-earning movie at the Box-Office by surpassing ‘Dhoom 3’ records. Well, the second-weekend collection is already counted and the movie has able to attract the audience in a similar way. In spite of the release like ‘Great Grand Masti’, ‘Sultan’ has able to pull of the money really well.
Salman Khan starrer movie was released on Eid and since then it had broken several records. With advance booking and advantage of Eid Holiday, the film has raked Rs. 36 Crore on the opening day. Since every passing day, the movie was just creating new records by raking the moolah in a big way. In the extended first week, the film has collected Rs. 229.9 Crore which is a very big amount. The film has already become the highest grosser of the year by escalating over the all-time earning of ‘Airlift’ and ‘Housefull 3’.
In the second weekend, the film earned, Friday- Rs. 7.50 crore, Saturday- Rs.11.50 crore and Sunday- Rs. 15 crore, which is Rs. 34 Crore. Till now the grand total of the film is Rs. 263.9 crore which makes the film the third highest earning film of all time. The way the film is going on, it is very clear that it will break the record of his own film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ but will not at all touch all time collections of ‘PK’.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Sultan movie also stars Anushka Sharma, Randeep Hooda and Amit Sadh in titular roles.
