Subramanian Swamy Questions On Sridevi’s Death, Says ‘I Think It’s Murder’
Sridevi was only 54 and due to cardiac arrest and accidental drowning in the bathtub, she took the last breath. She was in Dubai with her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi. All the Kapoor family was there in Dubai to attend the marriage ceremony of Mohit Marwah. Sridevi was in the washroom of the Jumeirah Emirates Towers hotel and when she was not out of the bathroom, the hotel staff raised an alarm. One of the sources of the hotel said, “At around 10.30 pm, she called the room service to request for water. When the server reached her room within 15 minutes, the actor did not attend to multiple doorbells. After a few minutes, fearing something was amiss, the staffer raised an alarm. When we broke into the room, we found her on the bathroom floor. This was around 11 PM. She had a pulse when we found her.” She was then taken to Rashid hospital, Dubai where she was declared dead due to cardiac arrest.
But the latest development in her forensic report has some other story to tell. It says that the actress died due to accidental drowning in the bathtub and in her blood, traces of alcohol were also found. But there are many questions raised now by the media. As per her history, Sridevi never consumed hard drinks, then how come reports say that she consumed liquor? And also there are no CCTV footages. Why so?
These same questions are also raised by Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy on the death of the actress. He said, “Let’s wait for the prosecution to pronounce it. Facts in media don’t appear to be consistent. She never drank hard liquor, how did it enter her system? What happened to CCTV? Doctors suddenly appeared before media and said she died of heart failure.”
