The highly anticipated Student of The Years 2 starring Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday, and Tara Sutaria released this week. The movie received a mixed response from critics as well as moviegoers. Despite not so good reviews, the movie is doing good business at the box office.
Student of The Year 2 earned Rs. 12.06 Crore on Friday, the collection was hampered with the crucial IPL match in the evening. Dharma Production film shows a decent growth of 15%, as it earned Rs. 14.02 Crore on Saturday taking its two-day total to Rs. 26.08 Crore.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to reveal Student of The Year 2 box office collection, as he tweeted, “#StudentOfTheYear2 witnesses growth on Day 2, but lacks the appreciation for a solid jump… Mumbai, Delhi, NCR plexes performing better… #IPL2019Final today [Sun] will hit biz, evening onwards… Fri 12.06 cr, Sat 14.02 cr. Total: ₹ 26.08 cr. India biz. #SOTY2”

This is Tiger Shroff’s second highest opening day after Baaghi 2, which created a storm at the box office and earned Rs. 25.10 Crore. The movie also marks the fifth highest opening of 2019 after Kalank, Kesari, Gully Boy, and Total Dhamaal.
The real test for the film will be on Monday, which will also tell us where it is heading as far as lifetime business is concerned.
