SRK Takes A Drastic Step For His Next Film That Shows He Doesn’t Handle Failure Very Well

After giving back to back flops at the box office, Shah Rukh Khan had lots of hope from his latest film Zero that also featured Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The movie has failed to earn a decent amount at the Indian box office. From fans to critics, everyone slammed the movie brutally. Fans of King Khan also felt disappointed with this film. On the other hand, Rohit Shetty’s Simmba featuring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan broke many records at the box office. This has led many of fans to believe that SRK’s stardom is on free fall.

Amidst all this, Shah Rukh Khan is all set for his next film, which is Rakesh Sharma’s biopic. King Khan will be paired opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan in this film.

However, King Khan has taken a huge step before regarding his next film. Reportedly he has preponed the shooting of his next. It was expected to go on floors in May this year, whereas it will go on floor February 2019. This bold step is taken in order to minimize the negativity around Zero debacle.

The report says,

“The project is expensive. In a bid to ensure that the film doesn’t exceed the budget, Kapoor and Khan find it imperative to start shooting by February. Doing so will help them wrap up the main schedule before summer. Given that certain crucial scenes must be filmed outdoors, the duo felt shooting in the bulky costumes would be impossible during those months.”

It is a very good decision taken by King Khan, as it will generate more buzz for the movie and also help him in concentrating on the new projects. This news has got a mixed reaction from netizens. Scroll down and check out how netizens reacted:
