Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has struggled a lot in his professional life. Currenly, SRK is the star to reckon but his journey isn’t an easy one. He first started his career with a theater and then moved to TV serials. It was a 90’s era when he got his first break in Bollywood movies. This is what changed him into a big star that we know today. He has a number of 8 Filmfare awards in his kitty and will add few more in the coming years. As his passion for action is the same like 25 years before. In the latest interview, he shared a lot about his acting in movies and also opened up about preparation for the role of Devdas.

When it comes to acting in Devdas, SRK says that he doesn’t think much about the characters but he turns obsessive for it. He said, “You have to be really obsessive to play the character, instead of thinking if you believe in it or not. As an actor, my job is to make you (audience) believe in the character through acting. In reality, I will not drink to death like Devdas but in the film I did, because I am an actor. When you are playing any character, you shouldn’t think about what people will think about you but the character.”
In his upcoming film Raees, he is essaying a role of a bootlegger inspired by Gujarati gangster Abdul Latif. Talking about the same, he said, “I think the character looks and talks real because it has been written by journalists who observed people from real life. However, the character is fictional.” The film is being written by the help of journalists Harit Mehta, Niraj Shukla and Ashish Vashi.
Raees dialouges are so intense that everyone is just amazed at it. Whether it’s Battery Nahi Bolneka or Sheron Ka Zamaana, all these kind of dialogues gives an adrenile boost for the fans. When SRK asked about the same, he said, “interesting journey of a man from eight-year old boy to a 42-year-old man.”
Directed by Rahul Dholakia, the film also stars Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The film is all set to hit the theaters on January 25, 2017.
