We all know about the love story of Boney Kapoor and Sridevi but there are some facts about the life of Sridevi that Boney was not aware of. In 1993 Sridevi was in Chandigarh for the shoot of the movie ‘Chand Ka Tudka’. She was in Chandigarh for 10 days.
During those days, she had dinner at the residence of former Haryana minister Vinod Sharma in Sector 9. The dinner was hosted by Sharma’s wife Shakti Rani Sharma. Mrs. Sharma shared a picture of her with Sridevi and it was memorable for Mrs. Sharma to be with Sridevi.
Shakti Rani said that when Sridevi, Salman Khan, and Sawan Kumar visited their house they were like common people and they didn’t have any tantrums. The movie was shot in Rock Garden, Chandigarh and was released in 1994.
She also told that Sridevi liked the Punjabi dish that was served by Shakti Rani. After that dinner, Sridevi lived in the city and she used to meet her every day. Shakti remembers every memory related to Sridevi. She even met her in Mumbai and Chennai. She couldn’t believe the news of her death and she mourns on her death. She says that she will always remember the days spent with the actress.
In 1994, the Ludhiana Police Department organized a Devi Night program in Ludhiana, in which the actress performed on stage. She shared the stage with singer and composer King Jacob. He said that he always remembers the moment spent with the talented actress. The Bollywood fraternity is in grief due to the sudden death.
