Sourav Ganguly made an impressive start to his tenure as the new Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president. The match was over inside three days after a dominating performance from Virat Kohli & Co.
India won Bangladesh by an innings and bagged 46 runs to win the pink-ball cricket after an impressive all-round effort. While Virat Kohli led from the front with his 27th Test century. The trio of Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, and Mohammed Shami picked up all 19 wickets to kick out Bangladesh twice inside three days.
Ganguly took part in the post-match presentation ceremony and there Kohli and other team members were honored before being handed over the trophy. The BCCI President took to Instagram to share a picture of himself from the event and ended up getting trolled from his daughter Sana.
“What is it that you’re not liking ?” Sana commented on her father’s post,
Ganguly replied, “@sanaganguly that ur becoming so disobedient.”
Sana was quick to hit back and wrote, “@souravganguly learning from you.”
Ganguly is the 39th president of BCCI last month. He has since actively taken part in selection meetings and played an important role in conducting India’s first pink-ball Test.
