Sonam Kapoor and Shekhar Rajviani spotted shooting for ‘Neerja Bhanot’ at Mumbai Domestic Airport
Sonam Kapoor, who commenced shooting for ‘Neerja Bhanot’ few days ago, was seen at Mumbai Domestic Airport perfecting a scene she has with Shekhar Rajviani.
The versatile singer was finalised to play the role of Sonam’s beau in the film after number of actors were approached for the same. After crooning popular chartbusters for the industry, Shekhar is all set to make his acting debut. Sonam on the other hand calls ‘Neerja’ a special film.
The duo was spotted late night shooting for a scene at the Mumbai Domestic Airport near the Jet Airways area. In the scene, Shekhar was seen dropping Sonam at the airport. She was seen making her way to the airport with her luggage, but she runs back to hug Shekhar. They hug and she leaves again. However, the duo was having some difficulty, as they weren’t able to perfect the shot it.
Fashionista Sonam is receiving much appreciation for her role from Bollywood biggies. Neerja Bhanot, directed by Ram Madhvani, is based on the life of Pan Am flight attendant Neerja Bhanot, who lost her life trying to save the lives of passengers from terrorists on board a hijacked plane.
