Anupam Kher, who is shooting for his show New Amsterdam in New York, has been visiting Sonali regularly. Recently, the 43-year-old actress took to her Twitter handle and revealed how Anupam’s show gets her company on the weekends. Sonali Bendre wrote, “It’s coz of this show I get some company on weekends here…. we talk about who goes home first…. I hope it’s me! Last month, Anupam Kher wrote an emotional post for Sonali Bendre and called her his hero. He tweeted, “I have done few films with @iamsonalibendre. We’ve met socially many times in Mumbai. She always has been bright & a very warm person. But it is only in the last 15 days that I got the opportunity to spend some quality time with her in NY. And I can easily say,”She is my HERO.” (sic).”

Recently, Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife Tahira Kashyap, who was diagnosed with Stage 0 breast cancer, revealed how Sonali helped her stay positive during her cancer treatment. “Just a few weeks ago, I read Sonali Bendre’s post and the amazing life condition she exhibits. At that point, I hadn’t discovered about my own condition. After reading her post, I made a mental note to emulate the high life state and the invincible spirit that she has. Well, the time to do the same came much sooner,” Tahira revealed in an article she had written about her struggle with cancer.
