Akira Sonakshi Sinha’s upcoming movie released a teaser of the song ‘Rajj Rajj Ke’. Within hours after it was released the video went viral. Akira has been directed by A R Murugadoss and also stars Konkona Sen Sharma and Anurag Kashyap in key roles. The film is slated to release on 2nd September, 2016.
Teaser of Rajj Rajj Ke track from the upcoming action drama film Akira. This song is crooned by Sonakshi Sinha and the teaser perfectly showcases her fierce side. The music of the album is composed by Vishal-Shekhar and the lyrics are penned by Manoj Muntashir.
The song was sung by Sonakshi herself and as part of the promotion she even performed live during the teaser release. “Ever since I was a kid, I had one big dream that someday I will sing live and have people dancing to my tunes… Slowly that dream is coming true,” Sonakshi said in a statement.
The actress, who made her debut into singing with a new single titled “Ishqoholic” last year, added that she feels “lucky to have the opportunity to sing such a beautiful and soul-touching song like ‘Rajj rajj ke'”.
“Akira” sees Sonakshi’s character coming to Mumbai from Jodhpur, where she gets into a tiff with the goons of the college she enrolls in. The story is about her fight to come out of a case in which the goons and corrupt police officials play crucial roles.
