Sonakshi Sinha’s Bold Statement On Journalist, Calls Todays’s Headlines Are Tomorrow’s Garbage
Sonakshi Sinha is all set to reprise a challenging role in the upcoming film ‘Noor’, where she is playing a fiercy Pakistani journalist Saba Imtiaz. The movie is based on the 2014 novel, ‘Karachi You Are Killing Me’. Currently she has started working on the film which will be wrapped up in one schedule. In a latest interview, she boldly targeted the journalists who publish nonsense news about her and her rumoured link-ups.
Interestingly, Sonakshi Sinha is playing a journalist role and she is all learning the basics of journalism. One thing that she faced a lot in the past is that she being linked up by many big Bollywood stars. In the latest interview to the leading daily, she finally targeted all those journalists who not follow the rules and talk nonsense about stars.
Talking about the Noor movie, she said, “Basically it’s the journey of a girl who just happens to be a journalist. It’s about the ups and downs in Noor’s relationships with friends, family and coworkers that every girl will be able to relate to. It’s a nice novel but since our film is based in Mumbai and not Karachi, it’s more about a single girl in the city. There are no bomb sites, ours is a fun film.”
When asked about her rumour link-up news that mostly publish in the media, she said, “Some people are in this profession just for the heck of it. It is like a temporary fix! You find such specimens in every profession. Today’s headlines are tomorrow’s garbage! So it’s better to move on and that’s all that matters.”
Her bold statement certainly means that she can’t take such rumours anymore and she will give the hit back answer to everything that is wrong. Directed by Sunhil Sippy, the film is a comic-crime thriller and it is expected to wrap up by the month of August. Apart from Sonakshi, the movie also star Purab Kohli as photo journalist Ayan Banerjee, Shibani Dandekar as Zara Patel who will be Noor’s friend. Even Comedian Kanan Gill is making his debut with the ‘Noor’ movie.
Altogether, Sonakshi Sinha just want to say ‘Khamoosh’ to all the journalist who come up with her rumoured linksups.
