Sonakshi Sinha is serious about her new found resolution. Read on!
Last 12 months have been quite eventful for Sonakshi Sinha with Holiday, Action Jackson, Linga and Tevar being her four big releases. For someone who has confessed to getting restless with even a day of break between schedules, Sonakshi is already in the thick of action with Action and Force 2. As a matter of fact for A.R. Murugadoss’ Akira, where she is pitted against Anurag Kashyap, Sonakshi also went through workshops and training to get her action part right. Now with John Abraham for company in Force 2, she is indeed turning over a new page in her career that saw a jumpstart for itself with Dabangg.
4 years, 13 films and 5 centuries later, is there any change that you feel within yourself?
I have just remained myself; I realize that this is the best way for me. Also, I am a director’s actor; I do what my directors ask me to do. Personally speaking, I have always believed that it is okay to make mistakes and learn from them. The more mistakes you make, the more normal you feel and people relate to you.
You were heard saying that in coming year, you want to try out different genres of films, good roles and great characters. How serious are you about this resolution?
Very serious! See, I have worked with some real good people. Also, when audiences like my work, they have appreciated as well. However, I know that they expect more from me now. I too want to diversify. I have just started out, I am young, I am learning, and I am fine with it. I am confident I can do it.
We like that Sonakshi, and Akira along with Force 2 could well be a start of better things to come.
