Sonakshi Sinha says ‘Ab Bas!’ to cyber bullying with ‘Mission Josh’ initiative
Online trolling and cyberbullying have become common in today’s world where anonymous account users target others on social networking sites and send out hate comments. Mostly, these online trollers target famous personalities like Bollywood celebrities and spread hatred against them. To fight this trolling trend and spread awareness against cyberbullying, actress Sonakshi Sinha has now teamed up with Maharashtra Polices’ ‘Mission Josh’ and a few other cyber experts to put a full stop on cyberbullying with her campaign, ‘Full stop to cyberbullying’.
Sonakshi is one of the many actresses, who has faced trolling, body shaming and online bullying for the longest time now. Recently, Sonakshi had to go off her Twitter to avoid the negativity that was being sent her way via online trollers. In 2019 the online trollers had relentlessly targeted her for not being able to answer a Ramayan related question on the sets of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. Ridiculing the actresses by mean memes on ‘low IQ’, ‘product of Nepotism’, star kid etc memers had gone after Sonakshi. The actress, however, had given a befitting reply to all but it made her felt the need for such an initiative and with this initiative, Sonakshi hopes to create some positivity online.
So to fight cyberbullying and harassment, Sonakshi has now teamed up with experts and is spreading awareness to curb this trend.
Recently, Sonakshi took to her social media handle to share a video where she could be seen raising her voice against Cyber Bullying and harassment.
