Sobhita Dhulipala talks about the role which is the closest to her
Actress Sobhita Dhulipala took to Instagram to share about the role that gave her the most beautiful experiences of being an actor. She essayed the role of Neha in Anurag Kashyap’s segment in the popular horror anthology film, Ghost Stories.
On her recent post, Sobhita talked about the character she played and why it meant so much to her. She wrote, “One of my most beautiful experiences as an actor has come from my character in Ghost Stories.”
She further said, “A 20-something woman walking a tightrope between terror and tenderness. Neha, who is pregnant again after a couple of miscarriages.”

She explained what made her character unique by writing, “Her maternal urges. Her quiet anxiety. Her private losses. An Indian housewife in 1995 London.What is the weight of hope in the face of loss? 🙂 ”
On the work front, Sobhita has been shooting for three films in the south industry titled ‘Kurup’ (Malayalam), ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ (Tamil), ‘Major’ (Telugu/Hindi). The shooting had to be halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
