Siddhant Chaturvedi Who Plays Ranveer Singh’s Mentor In Gully Boy Is A Star In The Making
Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Gully Boy’ is doing wonders at the box office. Everyone is loving Ranveer’s desi rap style. The fans are going gaga over Ranveer and Alia for their powerful performances. However, the movie also brought actor Siddhant Chaturvedi into the mainstream.
Siddhant has been able to impress everyone with his honest portrayal of MC Sher, who is a fellow rapper and mentor of Ranveer’s character. His character introduces Ranveer’s character Murad to the world of street rap in the movie. He always stands by Murad through thick and thin.
It is going to be a hell of a task to share screen space of two of the most talented Bollywood actors Ranveer and Alia Bhatt, Siddhant has done pretty well for himself in the movie making his presence felt.
In his brief career in the entertainment industry, Siddhant has done pretty well for himself. He started his entertainment career with a sitcom titled Life Sahi Hai, which focuses around four friends who have moved to Delhi for the first time. The series garnered lots of praise, especially from younger demography.
After comedy series, Siddhant went on to star in Amazon Prime Video’s original sports drama Inside Edge. He played a rookie pacer hailing from Uttar Pradesh. His role received huge praise from critics and audience alike.
Beside his acting chops, he has also been part of some memorable commercials. Despite achieving so much in such a short time, the entertainment industry was not in his initial plan. He was pursuing Chartered accountancy when he was in the theater.
However, everything changed when he won the national talent hunt organized by Bombay Times back in 2012. It was then when he decided to turn acting as his career and we are not complaining either.
