After ‘Tanu Weds Manu 2’ director Aanand L Rai is all set to don the producer’s hat. The director has reportedly already decided on his production venture, a Hindi remake of the Tamil romantic comedy ‘Kalayana Samayal Saadam’.
This will be the second time Imran and Shruti have been paired together. The duo starred in ‘Luck’ in 2008, which marked the actress’ Bollywood debut. The original film starred Prasanna and Lekha Washington in the lead roles.
According to reports RD Prasanna, who directed the original has been roped in again to direct the remake. The project will most likely go on floors by the end of this year, and release in 2016.
