Shraddha Srinath Is The Fresh Face In Bollywood And A Tough Competition To All The B-Town Actresses

There is no dearth of heroines from the South movie industry who have set their footprints in the Bollywood industry. From Sridevi to Tamanna to Tapsee Pannu, everyone has done well in the South and also gained immense popularity in the B-town. Now one more new face is going to make her Bollywood debut in the industry and she is Shraddha Srinath.

Since many years we have been hearing the name of the movie ‘Milan Talkies’. Five years ago this movie was about to go on floors with Shahid Kapoor as the main lead but due to reasons unknown, the movie was shelved. Now, the movie is ready to go on floors. Director Tigmanshu Dhulia has announced that he will start the movie and he has also signed Ali Fazal as the male lead and he has finalized Shraddha as the lead actress in this movie. 

Shraddha Srinath has worked in many Kannada, Telugu and Tamil movies. The movie is based on the struggles of the single screen theatres when they were shut down and the business of multiplexes was at the boom. On talking about the movie Shraddha said, “A film in Bollywood was truly unexpected. South is almost like one industry and other industries tend to watch our films and if they feel we fit the role, they cast you. But Bollywood is another league.”

The shoot will begin in March in places like Lucknow, Mathura, and Vrindavan. On learning the UP diction she said, “Even though I am fluent in Hindi, I have to get the UP diction right. The learning process is currently in progress.”

Shraddha is a popular face in the South and in 2016 her movie ‘U-Turn’ got her the Filmfare Award (South) for Best Actress. She also gave stellar performances in movies like ‘Urvi’ and ‘Vikram Vedha’.
