The pretty lass, Shraddha Kapoor, has been roped in for Rohit Shetty‘s Golmaal 4. After Kareena Kapoor Khan backed out of the film owing to her pregnancy, there were speculations about Alia Bhatt being the lead actress of the same. However, Alia refused to sign the film citing date problems. After all these reports doing the rounds, it was heard the Aashiqui 2 actress has finally nodded in consent for the film.
Rohit Shetty had been in talks with Shraddha for a long time and now finally, he got his lead actress.
According to media reports, Shraddha has almost been finalised for the venture and only paper works are left to be done. A source from Golmaal 4 revealed, “The modalities are fast being worked out with Shraddha. We start the shoot in Ooty in January. We plan to complete the film in 60-70 days. We want to hit theatres by Diwali.”
But there is something different awaiting for the fans. It is heard that Shraddha will not be cast opposite Ajay Devgn. She will not play the role of Ajay’s love interest. Moreover, Ajay will not romance any actress in this film of comedy genre. The source from the film added, “Ajay will not have a love interest in the film.”
Rohit Shetty wanted to do a song with Kareena Kapoor Khan in Golmaal 4 but nothing has been confirmed yet.
