Shraddha Kapoor is currently busy in the promotions of Half Girlfriend. The film is based on the novel of Chetan Bhagat’s Half Girlfriend. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film also stars Arjun Kapoor, Rhea Chakraborty and Seema Biswas in titular roles. The film is set to hit the theaters on May 19, 2017. Apart from that, she will also be seen in Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai, which is based on the life of Haseena Parkar. The film also stars Sharman Joshi, Ankur Bhatia and Siddhanth Kapoor in titular roles. The film is slated to release on July 14, 2017.
Lately, she has also signed for a new project of Amol Gupte, where she will be seen in the role of Badminton Player Saina Nehwal. Talking about it, she said, ” Most girls would have played badminton at some point in their lives in school. I feel so lucky to be playing Saina, who is not just among the world’s top badminton players, but also a youth icon. I can’t wait to start prepping for my role.” The film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar and it is slated to hit the theaters in the early 2018.
