Shraddha Kapoor walks out of Saina Nehwal biopic, Parineeti Chopra to fill in her shoes

Shraddha Kapoor had been finalized for Saina Nehwal biopic and the shooting for the movie had begun in September last year! although, the actress was detected with dengue post which she was asked to rest! She was to resume shooting for the film in April this year but the latest reports suggest that Shraddha Kapoor has walked out of this Saina Nehwal biopic, on accounts of her absolutely busy schedule!

Shraddha Kapoor is currently shooting for Chhichhore and Street Dancer. Her first collaboration with Prabhas, Saaho, too is lined up for release in August this year. She also will be seen in Baaghi 3 with Tiger Shroff. All of this has taken a toll at her making her quit Saina Nehwal biopic! Talking about this, a source said, “Despite everyone’s best efforts to accommodate the Saina biopic, dates were clashing, so it made sense for Shraddha Kapoor to opt out. The decision was taken by mutual consent. Meanwhile, Parineeti Chopra loved the script and will start prep soon.”

Confirming the news, Producer Bhushan Kumar told a leading media house, “We want to wrap up Saina by this year-end for an early 2020 release, so going ahead with the project is a decision taken by mutual consent.” “We are glad Parineeti has come on board for the film. Saina has made every Indian proud and we can’t wait to take her story to the world in the year of the Olympics,” he added.
