SHOCKING! Legendary Actor Rishi Kapoor passes away in Mumbai
Veteran Indian actor Rishi Kapoor passed away at HN Reliance hospital in Mumbai on Thursday morning. He was hospitalised a day earlier by his family members. He was 67.
His elder brother Randhir Kapoor had yesterday confirmed that he has been taken to the hospital after he suffered breathing trouble.
Bollywood’s heartthrob Rishi Kapoor belonged to a film dynasty that spans several generations – his father, Raj Kapoor, was among India’s most revered actors and filmmakers.
Several Bollywood stars took to Twitter to condole his sad demise.
Rishi Kapoor’s longtime friend and co-star of films such as Amar Akbar Anthony Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, “He’s gone. Rishi Kapoor, gone, just passed away. I am destroyed.”

Rishi Kapoor was suffering from cancer and underwent a treatment for almost a year in US. He returned India in September but was admitted to hospital twice.
There have been shockwaves throughout the industry. The saddest news of Rishi Kapoor’s demise comes a day after Bollywood’s another iconic actor Irrfan Khan passed away.
