The veteran actress, Rita Bhaduri, who had more than 3 decades long career in the Bollywood and the Television Industry, passed away Tuesday Morning! The actress was 62 years old and was last seen working in Star Bharat’s TV serial Nimki Mukhiya as Imarti Devi!
The news of the actresses’ demise was shared by Shishir Sharma, the Raazi Actor. The actor took his facebook account to share the news of the actress’ demise! He wrote, “We deeply regret to inform you that Reeta Bhaduri has departed for her journey beyond. The funeral rites will be held on 17th July, Tuesday at 12 noon at the Cremation Ground, Parsi Wada Road, Parshiwada, Chakala, Andheri East. Extremely sad.. lost a wonderful human being .. a mother to many of us.. will miss u Ma…”. The actress had been hospitalised since the past 10 days. Shishir Sharma wrote, “She had been ailing for a while now. Was hospitalised 10 days before her demise.”
Rita Bhaduri had acted in over 70 movies in her long running journey in Bollywood. Some of her works include Raja, Julie, Beta, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar, and 30 TV shows including Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Choti Bahu, Kumkum, Khichdi. She was even nominated for Filmfare award in the Best Supporting Actor category for her role in Madhuri Dixit-Sanjay Kapoor starrer Raja.
