We all know how Bollywood superstars like Shah Rukh Khan enjoys super stardom and immense fan following around the globe. We usually gets to see some of those instances in real life too.
Recently, politician Shashi Tharoor made one such discovery though. He made a recent visit to Munnar in Kerala, where he was made to share a hotel suite with none other than Shah Rukh Khan.
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor complained he couldn’t rest well as he had to share the hotel suite with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Well, not exactly SRK but it was a life-size cut-out of the actor which stood at the centre of the hotel room.
Besides the cut-out of him wearing a sherwani, almost every nook and corner was adorned with posters of SRK. The Thiruvananthapuram MP shared some photos tagging the actor and wrote, “Every wall is decorated w/posters of the film &the suite is dominated by this cut-out of you. No place for rest!â€
Yes, you read that right. When Shashi Tharoor checked into the hotel room in Munnar, he discovered that the whole room is adorned with pictures and posters of Shah Rukh Khan.
This happens to be the same room where Shah Rukh khan Khan himself stayed in 2013, while shooting for his film Chennai Express. Since then the room is converted into a shrine, dedicated to the superstar.
Shashi Tharoor was surprised that he will be sharing the room with Shah Rukh Khan, when all he wanted was to rest for a while. He even shared some pictures on the social media, tagging Shah Rukh Khan as well.
Dear @iamsrk, when on a brief visit to Munnar yesterday I took rest in the room you occupied in 2013, which has been converted into a shrine for you & #ChennaiExpress! Every wall is decorated w/posters of the film &the suite is dominated by this cut-out of you. No place for rest! pic.twitter.com/hFUYCgXLEc
