Shakimaan Is Coming Back On TV To Fight With The Evils
One of the most famous superhero TV serial ‘Shaktimaan’ is all set for making a new innings. According to the latest report, the makers are in a mood to relaunch the show once again for the kids.
Back in the 90’s the serial was a cult following among kids. The protagonist Shaktimaan, who had a super power, fights against all odds to save the life of people from evil forces. This eponymous saga has worked wondered for kids for nearly eight years. Finally, it ends in the year 2005. Those who have seen these must be knowing the craziness of the show.
In those days, there were hardly any TV sets and as a kid, the only option was to peep in somebody else’s home. One who has the TV watches episodes and then dictate it to their friends. Well, that was the time of Doordarshan where we have witnessed the thrill and excitement.
Mukesh Khanna aka Shaktimaan is the man behind this epic show. Lately, In an interview to Times of India, the 57-year-old actor revealed the comeback of ‘Shaktimaan’ in a whole new avatar.
“We are planning the return of Shaktimaan on television and the discussions are going on with few channels. I can’t commit the date but you will get to see it soon. I am working on my look and body for it. I have already lost 8 kgs and will be losing another 8 kilos. I am not trying to get six pack abs. I want to try and match up with the look that I had 15 years back [sic],” the actor told the daily.
Mukesh also said that since people relate to him as Shaktimaan, it would be unfair to them if anybody else steps into his shoes. “People relate to me as Shaktimaan and I can’t offer the role to anyone,” said the actor,” he said.
This exciting news will definitely spread a positive vibe among fans. We just wish to see the show back on track as soon as possible.
