In the past, Shahrukh Khan once said, “I do smoke but then I am unapologetic about it. I could say sorry for it but then if I say that, it would mean that I should not do it again. Otherwise, it would all be meaningless. The day I give up smoking, I will apologise for sure.”
A few months ago Shahrukh Khan said that he will soon quit smoking to lead a healthier life and spend more time with his family. At the India Today Conclave, the superstar said, “I am planning to give up all (smoking, drinking, etc) and try to be healthier and happier.’’ He further said, “I am working with younger girls just to keep up with my children. I am not doing it out of any mid-life crisis. I am only doing it to make myself feel younger and get in touch with the younger me.’’
Recently he did something unexpected. His conscience has stopped him from doing so. Yes, Shahrukh has stopped himself from smoking even he was in one of the smoking areas of LA. He posted a selfie of himself posing near a sign board that says, ‘Smoking Area’. He captioned the picture as, “And I refrained from smoking even though the area sanctioned it! For a break in LA.” Not bad, right?
